Meredith's 8th Birthday Party

Meredith had a party with 16 of her friends (including her brothers and a friend of Jeremy's) at Pump It Up. This is a place with 6 different inflatable playthings (moon bounces, etc.). A great time was had by all!

After the party, we took Meredith out to dinner at Don Pablo's where they sang to her and gave her a huge plate of sopaipillas. Delicious!

One of her favorite gifts was a Hannah Montana guitar from Grandad and Grandma.

Halloween, Part 2

Now for the "real" costumes. There would be no trick-or-treating as an ant or a tree.


Meredith was Hannah Montana, Jeremy, a soldier, and Jason, Curious George.

Halloween, Part 1

North Star Elementary School celebrates Halloween in an educational way. Each grade is assigned a category, and each child (parent) creates a costume that fits into that category. They need to label themselves appropriately. The second graders were insects; Meredith was an ant. She had to know the parts of an insect (antennae, thorax, abdomen, etc.).

The first graders were organisms - any living thing; Jeremy was a tree.
